ABOUT ME
My name is Nathan Wood and I have been making electronic music under various monikers and with different artists for about 10 years now. After settling in Victoria BC 3 years ago, I met the crew from Party People Sound Solutions and they gave me the vote of confidence I needed to start marketing my skill set. Since that time I have had the pleasure of working with many different artists in this incredibly talented city and produced some pretty inspiring projects.
EQUIPMENT
I use Ableton Live as well as a variety of high quality plug ins from: Native Instruments, Slate Digital, Xfer, Sound Toys, Waves and many more.
For production mixing I use a Mackie Total control mixer. For DJing live shows and weddings I use a Numark NS6 with Serato.
I primarily use a Audio Technica AT4040 for recording vocals, but I also use the Snowball from Blue Microphones for quick edits.
I use a M Audio 2x2 M external soundcard and plan on adding some outboard compression and saturation options soon.
I primarily use Tapco S8's from Mackie as my main monitors, with my Sennheiser HD250 headphones. I also reference all mixes on Yamaha and Rokit monitors.
I have access to an acoustic guitar, as well as two full range and half range midi keyboards to control all my software instruments.
